The interest rate on HDFC Bank’s Recurring Deposit (RD) usually ranges between 4.25% to 6.60% per annum, depending on the tenure you choose (from 6 months up to 10 years). Senior citizens get about 0.50% extra over regular rates.
HDFC 1-year RD offers 6.25% to regular citizens and 6.75% to senior citizens, 3 year RD offers 6.45% for regular citizens and 6.95% for senior citizens.
HDFC 5-year RD currently offers 6.40% for regular citizens and 6.90% for senior citizens, 10-year RD offers 6.15% to regular citizens and 6.65% for senior citizens.
The highest interest rate on RD is offered on 18 months RD i.e 6.60% for regular citizens and 7.10% for senior citizens.
