I want amex card. can anyone here tell me what is the eligibility for amex card?

I recently applied for amex credit card. I can help you out. This is what you need to check before applying:

  1. You are at least 18 years of age.
  2. For self-employment, your business must have been running for more than 12 months.
  3. Depending on the type of AMEX card, your salary must be between ₹4,50,000 - ₹25,00,000 or more per year. In case of self-employment, it must be ₹6,00,000 - ₹15,00,000 or more.
  4. You must have a strong credit history with no payment defaults.
  5. Your current residential address should be in India, and you must meet the definition of a Resident Indian under the Income Tax Act.
  6. Maintain a savings or current account with an Indian or multinational bank in India.
  7. American Express Cards currently issue cards only in specific cities, such as Delhi/NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, etc.
  8. You must inform American Express if your residential status changes in the future.

Since I meet the crietria, my amex card is confirmed. I should be getting it in a couple of days :partying_face:
