Is 767 a Good Credit Score?

Is 767 a good credit score? I want to know urgently.

A credit score of 767 puts you in a really strong spot. Most lenders consider this a ‘very good’ score, and they see you as low risk. When my score crossed into the 760+ range, I noticed a big difference.

I received 2 credit card approvals in 2 consecutive months. One was with a ₹69,000 credit limit, and another with a ₹86,000 limit from two different banks.

Here are some of the things you can expect in your credit journey with this score:

  • Easier Loan Approvals: You will be able to get loans easily and with less paperwork.
  • Competitive Interest Rates: Lenders will offer you loans at a lower interest rate.
  • Premium Credit Cards: You can get easy approval for premium credit cards with this score.

If you are in a similar stage, you can push your credit score further above 780 or more than 800. To make this happen, you need to be careful about your credit behaviour.

Clear bills on time, avoid overspending from your credit limit, and keep a healthy credit mix. Finally, you should track your credit score every month.
