How to Withdraw PF from Exempted Trust Online?
An exempted trust is when your employer manages PF through its own private PF trust, not via the EPFO. Now if that is the case then you won’t be able to withdraw PF via UMANG app or EPFO portal. But you can apply for a partial PF advance while being employed using Form‑31. You will need to get it processed via your company’s portal or through HR offline.
Mind you, you will not be eligible for full withdrawal before leaving your job.
Complete withdrawal via Form‑19 or pension withdrawal with Form‑10C is only allowed after you leave the job or reach retirement age. You cannot do this while still employed with an exempted trust .
Just like in the Umang app or EPFO website, you will have to declare the purpose of withdrawal, upload KYC documents and submit your application with right claim forms.
In case your company is not using any platform online, you will have to reach out to HR or accounts to get the withdrawal form offline. This will take approximately 3 to 4 weeks for processing.
