How to open RD account in post office online?
I have been misled by online platforms claiming that we can open RD accounts online in post office with the IPPB app but let me tell you, IT DOESN’T WORK.
The only thing that you can do is pay RD installments via IPPB in the existing RD account.
To open a recurring deposit in the post office, you need to visit the nearest post office. Ask for the post office RD application form and fill out all the details.
After submitting the RD application form, required documents and first payment of the RD installment, your account will be activated.
Post that you can make RD installment payments using the IPPB app. You’ll only have to enter your RD account number and MPIN for it.
