How to open FD in HDFC online

Most of the people have the same query on how to open an FD in HDFC online. I opened one a few days back and found out it is quite simple. You just need to log in to your HDFC NetBanking account, go to the “Accounts” tab, and click on “Open Fixed Deposit.” Then just choose the type of FD, enter the deposit amount, select the tenure, and pick whether you want the interest paid out monthly/quarterly or reinvested. After that, you just confirm the details, then submit and it’s done in a few minutes. The amount gets deducted from your savings account instantly, and you’ll get the FD receipt right there.
