How to Link UAN With Mobile Number?

Do you know how to link mobile number with pf account? Plz share.

You do not need to do it. When you activate your UAN, it officially links your mobile number and PF account. And, activating UAN is super easy. This is how I did it:

  1. Visit the EPFO Member Portal.
  2. Under ‘Important Links’, click Activate UAN.
  3. Enter the UAN, date of birth, name, mobile number, Aadhaar number, and captcha code. Tick the consent to receive OTP.
  4. You will receive an OTP on the mobile number you entered.
  5. Submit your OTP to activate the UAN.

However, if you change your mobile number later, you can update it in 2 ways:

  • Online: Log in to the EPFO portal, go to the ‘Manage’ menu, select ‘Contact Details’, update your mobile number, get an OTP, and submit.
  • Offline: Fill out the mobile update form, get it signed by your employer, and submit it to your regional PF office.

Remember to keep your mobile number active and updated to avoid missing any important PF notifications.
