How to get ppo number for pension? What is the method?

If you ever need to get your Pension Payment Order Number, there are a few quick ways to find it without going through a lot of paperwork. I usually follow one of these methods:

  1. Through the EPFO Portal
  • Visit the EPFO website.
  • Under ‘Online Services’, click ‘For Employees’ and then select ‘Pensioners’ Portal’.
  • On the right side, click ‘Know your PPO number’.
  • Enter your PF account number or bank account number.
  • Your PPO number, Member ID, and pension details will appear on the screen.
  1. By Contacting EPFO
  • Call the toll-free helpline at 1800 11 8005.
  • Or visit the nearest EPFO office with your details to get your PPO number.

All these methods are quick and reliable. I personally prefer the online ones because they save time and give instant results.
