How to close FD in SBI online?

Closing an FD in SBI online is actually pretty simple, I recently did it myself through SBI NetBanking. Just log in to your SBI NetBanking account, go to the ‘Fixed Deposit’ section under the ‘e-Services’ or ‘Deposit & Investment’ tab, and click on ‘Close Account Prematurely’.
You’ll see a list of your active FDs, select the one you want to close, check the details like interest earned and penalty (if any), and then confirm the closure. Once submitted, the FD amount (after adjustments) gets credited directly to your savings account almost instantly.
