PF statement, how to check?
Checking your Provident Fund account statement is much easier with the online procedures. Let me get straight to the point:
- Visit the official EPFO website.
- Find the ‘Services’ button and click on the ‘For Employees’ tab.
- Under ‘Services,’ you will see multiple links. Click on the ‘Member Passbook’ link.
- The page will ask you to enter your UAN number and password. Enter those details accurately.
- Once you’re in, enter the captcha to sign in.
- As soon as you log in to the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation portal, you will find the ‘Passbook’ tab.
- Here, choose the member ID linked with your UAN from the drop-down list of linked EPF accounts and view your PF statement.
You’ll also get an option to download it as a PDF. However, I recently checked my PF statement using the UMANG app. And honestly, it felt way easier. Let me share those steps as well.
- Download the UMANG app on your phone and log in by entering accurate details.
- Then, click on your profile picture.
- Next, find the ‘Services’ tab <‘Social Security’<‘EPFO’ from the drop-down list of services.
- Select the ‘View Passbook’ tab under the ‘Employee Centric Service’ section.
- Here, enter your UAN number and receive an OTP in your registered contact details.
- Enter it and hit the ‘Submit’ button.
- After that, select your current company name.
- And, done! Your PF statement is on the screen.
You can also hit the ‘Download’ button to get a digital copy on your phone. Hope this works for you!
