To check your PF (Provident Fund) balance using the Umang App, follow these simple steps:

  • Download & Install Umang App: If you haven’t already, download the Umang App from Google Play Store or Apple App Store
  • Register/Login: Sign up using your mobile number or log in if you already have an account.
  • Search for EPFO Service and Enter UAN: Go to ‘All Services’ to find the ‘View Passbook.’ Enter your 12-digit Universal Account Number (UAN).
  • Authenticate OTP: An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number linked with your UAN. Enter this OTP to proceed.
  • Check Balance: Once logged in, your PF account details and available balance will be displayed. You can also view your transaction history, contributions and other essential details through the passbook.
