For me personally, checking an SBI fixed deposit status is super simple. I have done it a couple of times, so I can guide you throughout this process.

You have two ways:

  1. SBI NetBanking service
  2. SBI YONO app

For using the NetBanking service:

  1. Visit the official SBI fixed deposit personal banking portal.
  2. Log in by entering your NetBanking username, password and captcha.
  3. Go to the ‘Deposits’ section.
  4. Here, you will find all your fixed deposits listed. Choose the one whose status you want to know.
  5. Instantly, you will know the current status of your FD, along with the FD balance, accrued interest and maturity date.

I mostly use the mobile banking process to check my FD status in SBI online. The steps are pretty simple. You only need to download the YONO app of SBI on your mobile first. After that, the process is almost the same.
