You can’t directly change the RD (Recurring Deposit) installment date in HDFC once it’s set at the time of opening the RD. The date is fixed because the amount gets auto-debited every month on that chosen date.
If you really want a different date, the only option is to close the existing RD and open a fresh one with your preferred installment date. You can do this easily through HDFC NetBanking / MobileBanking or by visiting your branch.
If you’re worried about missing the debit date, you can set reminders or ensure your account has enough balance a day before.
