How many FDs Can be Opened?

You are not the only one thinking “how many fd can be opened”, I guess beginners like us have the same query. I learned that banks, including popular ones like SBI, ICICI, and HDFC allow you to open as many Fixed Deposit (FD) accounts as you want. There is no restriction on the number of FDs you can hold, as long as you meet the minimum deposit amount for each one (usually ₹1,000).
In fact, I realised a little later that opening multiple FDs is often seen as a smart financial move. It’s called FD laddering where you divide your money into different FDs with different maturity dates. This way, all your money doesn’t get locked at once, and you have better control over when and how you access your funds. So my friend, if you are planning to open more FD accounts, go ahead and make some more money!
