Will the FD tenure change or remain the same?
Your FD tenure and rate remains the same until maturity. Once your FD matures, your tenure can change, since the highest-return FD is chosen automatically to reinvest your money. This means the tenure could remain the same if the current tenure offers the best rate, or it might change to the tenure offering the best rate at the time of maturity.
