Who can invest in NSC?
NSC is available to:
- Individuals who are residents of India.
- Minors, through a certificate issued by an adult who is the legal guardian.
- The scheme is not open to non-residents; however, if a resident who holds an NSC becomes an NRI, they can retain the certificate until maturity.
