Please tell me where to find UAN number for EPF?

Finding your UAN number only requires a few clicks. You can either go through your salary slip or log in to the UAN Portal using your Member ID.

I’ve tried both ways, but honestly, checking through your salary slip is the quickest and easiest option. Just open the email with your latest salary slip, and you will see your 12-digit UAN (Universal Account Number) right there.

If you want to try another way, let me guide you :

  1. Visit the official EPFO portal.
  2. Click on the ‘Know your UAN’ link under the ‘Important Links’ section on the right side.
  3. Enter your mobile number and captcha.
  4. Send a request to generate OTP, enter it and click on the ‘Validate OTP’ button.
  5. You will see a page asking to enter details such as your name, date of birth, Aadhaar/PAN/Member ID, and captcha for verification.
  6. After submitting all the details, hit the ‘Show my UAN’ button.

And, done! You will see your UAN number on the screen.
