What is Fixed Deposit Sweep-in HDFC?

I recently found out about HDFC’s Fixed Deposit Sweep-in facility when I was investing my savings. Basically, it links your FD to your savings account so if your account ever runs low and you need more money than what’s there, the bank automatically “sweeps” the extra amount from your FD in chunks (like ₹5,000 or ₹10,000) without breaking the entire FD. The best part? Your money earns higher FD interest until it’s actually needed but gets liquidity like a savings account..
