What investment options are available under NPS?
NPS offers two account types: Tier I (Pension Account) and Tier II (Voluntary Savings Account).
Subscribers can choose from four asset classes:
- Equity (E)
- Corporate debt (C)
- Government Bonds (G)
- Alternative Investment Funds (AIF)
They can opt for Active Choice (selecting their own asset allocation) or Auto Choice (funds are automatically allocated based on the subscriber’s age).
