Aadhaar linking to the bank account is mandatory and is required to be done as soon as account is opened to ensure your account remains active. I recently linked my aadhaar card to my bank account and it’s very easy. You can link your Aadhaar card to your bank account both online and offline. You can complete aadhaar linking online by just following few simple steps-
- Open your bank’s netbanking
- Login to your account using credentials
- Now, look for the “aadhaar seeding or update aadhaar option”
- Enter your 12-digit aadhaar number
- Once submitted, you will receive a successful liking message from the bank.
If you wish to complete the aadhaar linking offline you can visit your nearest bank branch with your original aadhaar card and one copy. You can ask for an Aadhaar seeding form from the bank. Just fill the form and submit it with the self-attested aadhaar copy. You will receive a confirmation message once your account is linked.
