How to claim tax benefits under NPS?
To avail of tax benefits under NPS, subscribers need to invest in their NPS account and then claim the deductions while filing their ITR using transaction statement.
The transactional statement can be obtained from the NPS portal or the subscriber’s Pension Fund Manager. The contributions must fall within the limits specified under the relevant sections of the Income Tax Act.
