status of my sovereign gold bond?
It depends on the way you purchased the sovereign gold bonds. Did you buy them online or offline? Since I am not sure which mode you chose, I’ll give you a basic idea of how to check SGB status.
If you acquired gold bonds online using a demat account,
- Log into the respective brokerage or bank portal.
- Go to the ‘Portfolio’ or ‘Holdings’ section. You should find your SGB details like quantity, series, issue date and maturity date.
Note that this update might take one to two weeks after issuance.
If you made an offline purchase, you must have received a digital certificate on your registered email id by RBI. You can also get a physical certificate from the issuing bank or your agent.
