Can I pay with someone else’s bank account for my FD?
Banks and NBFCs only accept payments from the account of the person booking the FD. Ensure the payment is made from your bank account.
During booking, the bank verifies if the payment account matches the PAN and Aadhaar details. Payments from another account will not book the FD, but the amount will be refunded to the source account within 5 working days.
